No thanks, I filled up on carrots

It appears that I should not quit my day job to become a farmer. While i did have a bounty of lettuce, my carrots did not fare as well. Apparently there is a downside of planting carrots way too late, and trying to grow them from seed. I present to you my carrot harvest:

Baby carrots seem to be really popular. Maybe these will catch on!

OMG-that is too funny!! Our tomatoes that we started(later than they should have started) after we moved into the house grew like a zillion tomatoes, and of course now it is like 5o degrees and they will all die. We did manage to get a few, and share a few with the neighbors. YUMMY!

Better luck for both of us next year!
